Hostess Gift #1

Happy Leap Day to you! I got a little behind on my hostess gifts for my club. Here's one of the card gift sets that I gave to one of my hostesses.

These cards feature the "Just Believe" stamp set and the Spice Cake DSP from the Holiday Mini. The DSP is retired, but LOOK! You can still get the digital download for My Digital Studio! :)

Hello Friend CASE

Whenever you need a starting point for a project, it's okay to get inspiration from others' ideas and projects. Today's card is a CASE of a card I did myself. I made a pack of 4 of these to give to one of my club hostesses. I love the combination of Pool Party and Island Indigo. The colors just look so sharp together!

Happy Anniversary

Today is my third Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I can't believe it's been three years. I've had so much fun being a part of the Stampin' Up! family and look forward to many more years to come. Stampin' Up! does such a wonderful job of spoiling its Demonstrators--the benefits and perks are limitless! If you are interested in all of these wonderful bonuses, contact me today to join this wonderful family!

Today's project features some of my favorite products from the Occasions Mini Catalog: The Mixed Bunch stamp set and the coordinating Blossom Punch. This gorgeous butterfly is a direct CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from page 16 of the mini catty. Nothing screams spring like these bright, vibrant colors and a butterfly. Officially 22 days until spring, in case you are wondering. ;) I'm an anxiously awaiting...even though I've been spoiled with a bizarrely warm winter here in Oklahoma this year. ha ha

Stamp Club Appreciation Party

Last night I held my annual Stamp Club Appreciation Party. I look forward to this every year--thanking all of the lovely ladies who have been a part of my monthly stamp club all year long.

This year, I made little treat boxes (with a few stamping goodies inside) with coordinating thank you cards. What better stamp set to use for their projects than "Tote-ally Tess!"

The favor boxes use the Bitty Box from the Bitty Box and Envelope die. This is a perfect treat box to use if you are running short on adhesive because it doesn't require any adhesive to assemble the box!

Wonderfully You

Today's card features the Twitterpated collection in the Occasions Mini Catalog. Don't you just love the adorablely chic pleated satin ribbon? It's so easy to use and turns a simple project into a stunning project. I recommend using Sticky Strip to adhere the ribbon to your projects.

Mojo Monday

Well, I ended up buying a new battery charger and camera cord on eBay. It's coming from Hong Kong, so my options for taking pictures for my blog are pretty limited right now. :-\ So please forgive the quality of the posts in the coming days while I wait for my new charger and cord. These were taken with my phone, so they aren't exactly screaming professional. ;)

It's been quite some time since I participated in a Mojo Monday Sketch challenge, but thought it would be a good one to do this week.

The stamp set featured is the "Turtle & Co" which BONUS! When you purchase this adorable stamp set, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Ronald McDonald House! Woot!

Need a dash of coordinated color to run through your buttons? Just cut a sliver of coordinating card stock and lace it through for a great touch!

Crisis

I have spent the entire day dumping my house upside down searching for my camera charger...to no avail. I've come to the conclusion that I must have left it in the hotel room in San Antonio, although I do not remember taking it out of my bag at all. However, that is the last place I remember seeing it.

What is it with me, my camera and hotel rooms? I left my camera cord to this same silly camera in a hotel in Denver a year and a half ago. Grrr.

I'm so sad because I worked all weekend on projects that I was planning to share with you this week. I'm doing a search for a charger (and/or cord) online to see if I can buy one for my camera.

My camera won't even turn on. It's dead. No juice. Nada. Zip. Zero.

So, don't give up on me. I'll find a way to post these projects, it just may take me a couple of days to get a new charger...

Leadership Make-n-Takes Pt 3

Here's the final Leadership Make-n-Take that I'll be sharing with you this week. It features flowers from the Designer Printed Kit from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Need easy cards quickly? This kit is the perfect solution! It's jam-packed with vibrant color and you don't even need stamp sets or ink to make an easy card. The pink rhinestones that are included add extra pizzazz that can take your card or project from simple to wow in just seconds! Simply replace the buttons that I included in the center of the flowers with the rhinestones and Viola! An easy card.

Leadership Make-n-Takes Pt 2

Here's another Leadership Make-n-Take project. I'll be honest, this color combo is not one that I would probably put together myself, but that's the great thing about the Leadership MnTs. It gives us examples of a variety of projects, even those that might be outside of our comfort zone.

Bearing that in mind, I'd like to present a challenge for you: create something this week using a color combination that you wouldn't normally pick out yourself. Who knows...you might like it! Share your completed projects with me by linking to your blog in the comments section, or shooting me an email. I'd love to see what you put together!

Leadership Make-n-Takes

While at Leadership, we get several projects to create while we are there. This year they had so many wonderful projects that it was impossible to finish them all in the time alotted, so I opted to finish most of mine when I got home. This is one of the projects that we created while we were there. They gave us materials to make two of the same card and we got to leave one card there for the Ronald McDonald House (a partner with Stampin' Up!).

I love how they suggested snipping the petals of the Blossom punch to add some texture and dimension. Give it a try!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day fellow stampers!

In honor of the love holiday, I created this card featuring the "PS I Love You" stamp set. It also highlights the scrumptious 3/8" pleated satin ribbon (that comes in four different colors)! Say so long to adding glue dots or other adhesive to your ribbon to give it a pleated effect...this ribbon comes already pleated! How easy is that? Don't you love it?

Hope you found a creative way to give a hand-made project to someone you love this Valentine's Day!

Valentine Mini Cello Treats

Valentine's Day is tomorrow! For a small "I'm thinking about you" gift for my department at work, I made these little treats with the mini cello 1" bags filled with M&Ms.

The bag topper features the "PS I Love You" stamp set and the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details from the Occasions Mini Catalog. It really adds some sparkle to the toppers, doesn't it?

Valentine card

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, can you believe it? I've finally been getting around to making projects with the stamp set that I won from Prize Patrol at convention. ha ha

One of my friend's favorite holiday is Valentine's Day, so I wanted to make a card to send to her. It features the "PS I Love You" stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Name Banners

One of my friends had seen the banner that I made for my sister's baby shower and asked if I would make one for her to put in her locker at school. I asked her to give a few ideas of what she had in mind, and all she said was zebra and purple, so this is the name banner that I made for her.

To create the zebra print, I used black card stock and an Exacto knife, then assembled the pieces on white card stock.

After a few months, she asked me if I would create another name banner for her friend's birthday. This time she told me pink and monkeys. This is what her friend Rebecca received.
