Spring Layout

I was asked to do a scrapbook layout as the make-n-take at one of my workshops this week. I opted for something spring-filled and colorful. This is an 8"x8" layout using the "Vintage Vogue" stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The green striped strip is the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper-still using up scraps from Christmas projects, but you can't even tell it's Christmas paper from this side. :D

Buzzin' Birthday

I had a request to do a springy Birthday card. I wanted to use a stamp set that I haven't used in a while, so I was drawn to the "Just Buzzin' By" set. This set makes me smile. :)

I used Bermuda Bay as the base color and Pumpkin Pie for the accent. I added some Dazzling Diamonds to the flowers and the bee wings to give it some extra sparkle.

Jewelry Inspiration

My friend had a necklace on yesterday that inspired me to make this card. I had taken a picture of the necklace, but I used my phone to take it and it ended up being poor quality, so I won't post my inspiration photo. :( The necklace was purple, black and gray translated into SU language as Rich Razzleberry, Going Gray and Basic Black. :D

I have had the Metal Edge Tags for quite some time and have never used them, so I decided to incorporate one into this card. I'm going to send this card to my mom "just because"...purple is her favorite color and I think she would appreciate it. ;)

This card uses the "I {Heart} Hearts" and the "Well-Scripted" stamp sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog, and the "Circle Circus" stamp set from the Idea Book and Catalog.

Welcome Gift/Mojo Monday

It's official-I finally have my first recruit! :D She's been a friend of mine for quite some time and I am so excited to finally have her on my team!

For a welcome gift, I made her a shadow box using the "Tote-ally Tess" stamp set, some chipboard letters, the great Sweet Pea DSP from the Occasions Mini catalog and a few embellishments. I made a coordinating card and envelope to go with the gift. For the card, I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch. Sorry, you can see my reflection in the shadow box pictures. :D Tee hee

She's a new Demonstrator and new to blogging, so go on over and show her some love!

This card was made using a sneak peek set from the upcoming 2010/2011 Idea Book and Catalog: Awash With Flowers. For the month of April, Stampin' Up! will be promoting a Two-Step Into Spring offer, in which you will be able to purchase this very set! Here's a sneak peek of the set in my card below.

Now is a GREAT time to book a workshop with me during the month of April--qualifying workshop sales will get you this stamp set for FREE! :D

Spring Break

Even though I don't get a spring break anymore, my blog has been taking one this week to give me a chance to catch up on some projects. I have been stamping this week...finishing BFF's baby shower invites, made my club's hostess gift for this month, and worked on a few other projects. I'll share a couple of them with you later, but today is dear husband's birthday so we will spend the evening celebrating with birthday cake and dinner with the family. :)

Come back tomorrow for a sneak peek at a card I made using a stamp set that will be featured in the 2010/2011 Idea Book and Catalog!

More babies

This was a card I had intended for BFF's baby shower invites, but when I created this and realized how much time it would take to make a bunch of invites, I decided to make this as her card from me with my gift to her. Her baby girl's nursery is going to be decorated using the colors in the card: Crushed Curry, Ruby Red, Bashful Blue, and Chocolate Chip. Never in my wildest dreams would I have put these colors together (much less for a baby girl), but when I saw the blanket for the nursery and how the flower design brought these colors together, it was SO adorable!

My pregnant gal is a CASE of this pregnant gal, by one fabulously talented punch art QUEEN!

Booming Babies

My best friend is pregnant, so I offered to throw her a baby shower next month. I also offered to make the invitations for her shower. I knew I wanted to try and use some punch art for the invitations and felt inspired to try this baby. I ran the Chocolate Chip card stock through the Big Shot with the small polka-dotted textured plate.

Appreciation

I appreciate my customers and friends! I had someone visit my website and purchase something online this past weekend, and I wanted to send her a thank you note to show my appreciation. I had some leftover pieces from my Easter class so I used the Barely Banana base and the Barely Banana Top Note die. I stamped the flower images from the Vintage Vogue stamp set, available in the Occasions Mini Catalog until April 30. Added a little bit of embellishment in the centers of the flowers to give it some "bling." :)

Ooo-La-La

I went to one of my friend's personal wedding shower, and was so excited about the card I made her. I saw this lingerie card a while back and really wanted to make one but didn't know anyone that I could give it to. Now I have. :D

Haiti Results Update

Previously, I posted this stating that Stampin' Up! would donate $2 of each "I {Heart} Hearts" stamp set that was sold during the month of February to the Haiti relief efforts. I am happy to report that worldwide, demonstrators sold 13,587 of the stamp sets. Stampin′ Up! donated over $27,000 to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund to people who desperately needed our help. Congratulations!

Thank you to everyone who purchased this stamp set during the month of February!

Eggstra-special Easter Treat

I held an Easter class this weekend and decided to make a little Easter treat to share with the girls. I made fun-fetti cupcakes, used Easter sprinkles on the top and then made my own cupcake toppers using the "Loads of Love Accessories" stamp set. The cupcakes were really yummy--wish you could have had some with us! :)

Eggstra Special Card

I have a lot of workshops during March, so I'm trying to get ahead for Easter. :) The "Loads of Love" stamp set is such a diverse stamp set and covers a lot of seasons. This was one of my first stamp sets that I purchased from Stampin' Up! many years ago and still has a lot of versatility today.

Happy St Patty's Day

A little early, but I've been wanting to make a clover with the small heart punch for a while. I thought the "lucky" definition from the "Define Your Life" stamp set was a nice fit for this lucky green St Patty's Day card.

Dear Friend

This is a mini card that I made for a workshop demo. This clean and simple card measures 3x3.

Season of Spring Friendship

I really like this "Season of Friendship" stamp set. The options are endless for what you can do with it. I started with more than just two colors and then went a different direction when I put the Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry together. :) Love it when that happens...

Love-ly Surprise

Just before I left for Cancun, I received a wonderful surprise from my upline Deidre. She made the following projects for me-they are SO cute! I hung the "LOVE" banner on my front door. The other two layouts are mini-layouts that fit into the Simply Adorned Charms-SO cute!

Thanks D! :D
