Sale-a-Bration Treat Box

The Matchbox Treat Box is currently one of my "go-to" treat boxes. Especially since Stampin' Up! now offers a coordinating "It's a Wrap Occasions" stamp set that wraps perfectly around Hershey nuggats (yum!). Four nuggats fit perfectly inside the Matchbox Treat Box and makes for an adorable favor for any occasion!

Using the Sale-a-Bration Everyday Enchantment DSP, I created a few thank you treat boxes to take with me to Leadership.

Sale-a-Bration Project Kick Off

Sale-a-Bration is officially underway, one of my favorite times of the Stampin' Up! year because it means more FREE stuff for you! For every $50 (US pre-tax/shipping) that you spend, you get something FREE from the SAB brochure! How great is that? We all love FREE stuff!

Today marks the start of some projects that I created using one of the FREE items you can receive from the brochure, the "Everyday Enchantment DSP." Isn't it gorgeous? I love the bright colors--it makes me really excited about spring!

Here are a couple of thank you cards that I made with coordinating envelopes.

Would you like to earn FREE stuff from the Sale-a-Bration brochure? Visit my website and start filling your shopping cart up today! Don't wait! It only lasts through March 31...

Give Thanks

I know that Thanksgiving has come and gone, but talking about the Spice Cake DSP and color scheme yesterday reminded me that I had not shared this card with you that I made on my blog hiatus.

It uses the faux silk technique, but instead of the tissue paper, I used a coffee filter for a little more texture.

Luggage Tag

A few years ago, at my first Stampin' Up! convention, the delegate bag that we got that year turned out to be my absolute favorite travel bag that I've ever owned...and I travel a LOT with my full-time job. It was the perfect size, had the right number of pockets on the inside and it was made of canvas so it was sturdy and flexible about stuffing as much or as little as I wanted into it.

The bag is still in pretty good shape considering all the places that it's traveled to (it's always my carry-on so it never has to suffer through the tossing around under the cabin that my big suitcase endures). But I started thinking about how sad I would be if it ever finally croaked and I had to lay it to rest. So, for Christmas, I lent my favorite bag to my mom and asked her to replicate it for me so I would have another. So she did. She used the Spice Cake designer fabric and buttons for the color scheme and made me a chocolate colored (to hide the dirt) canvas (for durability) bag for me. She did an AMAZING job, and I used it for the first time when I went to Leadership.

Before I left, I decided to make a luggage tag to coordinate using the Spice Cake DSP. The AW are my initials, in case you didn't figure that out. :)

Leadership Ideas

One of the great things about attending a Stampin' Up! event is seeing all of the creative inspiration of other Demonstrators. This year at Leadership, they had a card contest for each of the stamp sets featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Here are a few card ideas that I liked as I looked through the numerous submissions and ideas!

Leadership Convention

I've just returned from Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Convention in San Antonio, and I had such a wonderful time! I met some new friends, saw some creative projects and attended some inspirational classes. This was my first Leadership to attend and I can honestly say I don't want to miss another!

Here are a few pictures that my roommate Laurie and I took while in San Antonio...

In the Market area after dinner.

It's blurry because I just won Prize Patrol and I'm really excited. ha ha

Showing off my prize. ;)

No wonder my suitcase was over the 50 pound mark on the flight home! This is all the loot I scored while on my trip. Can you believe I got all this for FREE?

Would you like to attend Leadership and get all this FREE stuff too? Ask me about joining the Stampin' Up! family today!

A Hiatus Conclusion

Hello Stamping Friends!

Let's celebrate! I have been stamping. I have been creating. My stamp room has come alive, and I am happy to announce that my five month blog hiatus concludes today! I have projects to share with you, things that I have been working on over the past few months and moving forward.

It's a wonder to me that even after six months with zero fresh ideas, I still have people coming to my blog. I have my Splitcoast Stampers Gallery to thank for that, but hopefully those who subscribe to my blog will be happy to know that I finally will be sharing ideas and projects with you again.

So, without further adieu...I am BACK!
