Mojo Monday
Today's post was created using this week's Mojo Monday template. It features more of the Sale-a-Bration DSP and the "Fresh Vintage" SAB stamp set.
The Everyday Enchantment DSP is so bright and cheery, it is difficult not to love it's spring flavor. And a touch of coordination was added with one of the brads from the coordinating Ribbon and Brad pack.
Don't miss your opportunity to get these items for FREE by simply placing a $50 order with me today!

Wedding Favors
One of my good friends is getting married on Friday and after giving her one of these Halloween Hershey nuggat boxes for Halloween she asked me if I would make some wedding favors for her.
I am getting to be a pro at assembling these little matchboxes with all that I've created over the past few months. They are just so simple to make and give a lasting impression to the recipients! So, here's yet one more example of how to use the "It's a Wrap Occasions" and the Matchbox die. If you are still dragging your heels about ordering these fantastic items, how many more examples do you need me to share with you before you are sold on how versatile and awesome it is?! Get on over to my website and order them stat! You won't regret it! ;)
The DSP used on these boxes is not Stampin' Up! and is a DSP that she provided to match her invites and other wedding projects that she created. Everything else used is Stampin' Up! Well, minus the Hershey nuggats of course. :)

Happy St. Patty's Day!
Top o' the morning to ya! Well, tomorrow anyway. :)
St. Patrick's Day has always been a fun holiday for me, with no particular reason. In the last few years it has been memorable for my family. SPD is my sister's absolute favorite day. She's always loved it. Well, a few years back, she got engaged on SPD. It was so special, and I always remember it when this holiday rolls around. So, knowing how much she loves the holiday, I try to send her a SPD card each year.
This one is a clean and simple (CAS) card. It features one of the beautiful stamps from the "Elementary Elegance" Sale-a-Bration stamp set. Want your very own set? Simply place an order of $50 USD and you can get it for FREE! It coordinates perfectly with the Curly Label Punch.
For a little bit of texture, I used the Color Spritzer Tool and added flecks of Garden Green to the background. And to jazz it up a bit, a few touches of rhinestones added some sparkle.
Adding a layer of DSP (Designer Series Paper) to your envelope flap will coordinate your envies with your cards in a flash!

Bahrain/Kuwait Trip
Hey Friends,
I returned from my trip to Bahrain and Kuwait on Friday afternoon, and I spent most of my weekend trying to catch up on sleep! There was a 9 hour time difference between there and home, so it did a number on my system, despite going immediately to their time zone. :) The trip was a business trip for my full time job and although I was in Bahrain a total of 4-1/2 days, the only thing I really managed to see there was the inside of my hotel room and the Exhibition Center. I was only in Kuwait for 2 days and had a little more free time, but still only managed to see what I passed riding around the city between meetings. I will going back to Kuwait in December and hope to have a little more time to explore and venture out. :)
This was the view from my hotel room window and the only time I managed to see the Sea while I was there...
This was thew view from the waiting area for the elevator on my floor.
At the opening reception, this was the welcoming entertainment. They played drums and chanted, and the guy in the white displayed quite the dance moves. :)
A small glimpse of the Sea on the way to the airport...
This was the lovely view from our dinner table the first night in Kuwait.
I'm training to run a 10K race in only a few weeks and wanted to be able to continue while on the road. Since it wasn't safe for me to run alone around the city there, I had to opt for running on the treadmill (which I HATE doing). It was a little easier to bear since this was the view I had from the treadmill. :)
Simon was SO excited to have me home! He was also curious about the different smells coming out of my suitcases in the back of the car. ha ha His favorite thing about me coming home from a trip--sniffing my suitcases!
It's good to be home! And on that note, I had a lovely surprise waiting for me...a brand new camera battery charger and cord! I can now take pictures again with my real camera, instead of my silly iPhone! ha ha YAY!

Cup of Joe
One of my friend's birthday was last week. He is a huge coffee drinker, so it was easy for me to know what kind of card to send to him. I'd seen several different coffee cup cards floating around, but for the one I created, I used this tutorial to make the perfect cup of Joe for my friend.
I also used the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the Big Shot to create some texture on the cup portion.
I also created a Birthday bag topper to tie together this cello bag of Mike-n-Ikes with the coffee card.

Hostess Gift #3
Happy Friday Friends! I am currently in the air headed to the Middle East for a business trip to Bahrain and Kuwait! I'll be over there a week. This is my first trip to both of these countries, and as I type this I'm currently going through my mental packing list and gearing up for a great trip! I'll post some pictures when I get back, but in the mean time--you came to the blog for project ideas, so let's get to it!
This is the final hostess gift set that I made. The clear stamp case cover features teh Spice Cake DSP, which has since retired from the Holiday Mini Catalog, but don't forget--you can still get the digital download for My Digital Studio!
The cards feature the "Hello, Doily" background stamp. I used the Rock-n-Roll technique for this card with More Mustard and Chocolate Chip.

Hostess Gift #2
Here's the second hostess card set that I created. The cards happen to be another CASE of one of my cards.
The clear stamp case's focus point features the Lace Ribbon Border punch. Don't you love how elegant that border is?
