This weekend was BFF's baby shower, so I have been busy this past week getting things ready for that. I decided to make her a diaper cake using the colors of her nursery and little diaper candy favors.
The only thing on the diaper cake that isn't Stampin' Up! is the wide ribbon coming from the top of the cake, because SU doesn't have a red ribbon that wide. :D
I got the diaper candy favor idea from a 3D swap I received at convention last year. I saved it thinking I might have a reason to use it someday, and viola! Now I did. I took the one I received apart and traced it for a pattern. Then embellished it and put small cello bags of gummy bears inside. All the ladies loved them and they were so easy to make!

I just found your blog and I must say I'm impressed, especially with the baby ideas - that seems to be what I'm making a lot of these days, baby cards. Have you posted a tutorial of the diaper favor? I would love to get a copy, it's so great! Your blog is now at the top of my google reader list! Thanks, Debra
