Another monthly club hostess gift

This is for my July club hostess. I'm having fun making these each month. I decided to use the "Circle Circus" set and do a more elegant feel using the Basic Black, Going Gray and Bermuda Bay color scheme.

Christmas in July

I did a workshop last night, and the hostess requested we make a card. So I thought doing a Christmas card in July would be fun. I really love the "Holiday Lineup" stamp set, and decided to use the spotlight technique to make Rudolph be the focal point of the card. You can't tell it from this angle, but the spotlighted circles are popped up with a dimensional piece to give it some depth.

CAS Upsy Daisy

At the end of the month, my hubby and I are having some friends over for a cookout/house viewing party, and we'd like to have all of the small/large projects finished on the house before then. So my time has been devoted every night to a specific room or project, and I'm afraid my time for making cards has suffered because of it. I know that the "Upsy Daisy" stamp set is an oldie, but it is new to me. I've wanted it for a very long time and just now got around to getting it. I managed to sneak in a few minutes to make this Clean and Simple (CAS) card using the set.

Pheasant Faux Silk

I hosted a card day for the girls in my Stampin' Up club that could make it so I could teach them their monthly technique: faux silk. I used the new "Autumn Days" set and also incorporated their technique from last month, Rock n Roll, to the pheasant. And of course, I used the new In-Colors, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.

Another baby onsie

We had a baby shower for my co-worker and friend this week, so I made her some onesie baby announcements. I tried them on printed paper this time instead of white CS. For my original post with information and a link to the blog with directions for making these, click here.

Possible swap card

I fiddled around with the new In Colors trying to come up with something for a workshop I'm holding tonight, and came up with this card. It uses the Rock 'n Roll technique on the top circles, and a small portion of the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP on the bottom half. I'm pretty sure this will be a card I use for one of the many swaps I am participating in during the Convention. Hope you like it. Of course, I took this shot when it was rainy out, so it has a dark tint to it. Oh well. :)

Loads of Love-Thank You

My Realtor and friend, Sarah, helped with both the selling and buying of our homes, so I made her a thank you card. I love this Loads of Love stamp set because it is so versatile and has so many options you can use and be creative with. Here's the card I made her using the Wonder Watercolor Crayons. (Sorry Sarah if you see this before I give it to you tonight-ha!)

Back at it

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. I spent all of last week getting unpacked and somewhat settled into my new house. The scrapbook room is still not finished--my dear sweet husband has agreed to build me a few pieces to help finish it off. I need a small table for my electric tools and a cabinet/dresser for storage and displays. :) For now my essentials are out on my desk and everything else is still sitting in boxes lined neatly against the four walls. After he finishes those projects, I'll be able to get settled in my new creativity room.

These are a couple days late, but better late than never I suppose. I made these for a small hint of decor for the Independence Day holiday: a bucket of fireworks and a candle to coordinate.

Bear on a Beach

This card is a shameless CASE, but I couldn't resist! This bear is so cute all dressed up like he's on a beach soaking up the rays. I don't have the flower punch for the lay, so I adapted using flower brads. I heart this bear, and the "Under the Stars" stamp set.

On another note, this will be my last post for about a week. I'm moving tomorrow and won't have internet connection hooked back up until early next week. Have a great week!!
