This Wednesday I am off to do a site visit in the lovely city of Asheville, NC. I've never been and am excited to see this beautiful place I've heard such wonderful things about. I have two vendors who are hosting my 5 day visit, so I wanted to give them both a thank you note (with a gift of local Oklahoma grown peanuts and peanut brittle from a friends family farm). Because the Blue Ridge Mountains are there in Asheville and I will be treated to some time there in the mountains I wanted to incorporate that scenery in my cards. One of my vendors is a guy, so I didn't want it too feminine looking either...so I pulled out my brayer.
Let's all be honest for a moment...unless you are Michelle Zindorf, you're probably intimidated by this lovely little tool, as am I. But I braved it anyway and this was the result!

Paper Pumpkin
Stampin' Up! introduced Paper Pumpkin in March--a great program with the beginner or busy crafter in mind. With a monthly subscription, Stampin' Up! will mail a project to you once and month for you to create in 30 minutes or less! The Welcome Kit (your first month joining) are the cards below--you get materials to make four with instructions to make them. I changed two of mine up and added some variety. Below are the cards I created. Since once was duplicated, I only posted pics of 3.!
It's not too late to sign up to join the monthly Paper Pumpkin program. Head on over and you can sign up! Don't wait too long--you must sign up by the 10th of the month to get this month's project!

Simple Cards with Scraps
With some of the left over scraps from my Friends Canvas kit, I made these cards. Clean and simple and the best part is that they were so easy--all of the color are stickers from the kit! I just embossed the border and stamped the sentiment. Super easy!

Chalkboard Cards with Canning Jars
Friday night we are holding a Women's Event at our church. The theme is "Friend of God" and the decor (there will be a dinner) will be an old time country fair with burlap, chalkboards, canning jars and all things trendy right now. I was asked to create table tents for the tables.
The first set of cards I made were with the "Perfectly Preserved" stamp set and coordinating Embosslits and used the "Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder," all of which were introduced in the Holiday Mini Catalog, but are still available for purchase.
The second batch of cards I made were inspired and CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) from Becky Roberts' adorable mini chalkboards using the chalkboard technique. Don't these just make you want to spit bananas?! They rocked my world so much I just had to share them with you. :)

Friends Canvas
I recently held a Friends Canvas Class where each person got to create this colorful canvas. the canvas focused on the "Razzleberry Splash" Scrappin' Kit which is loaded with color! Some of the gals opted to change the word "Friends" to "Sisters" and they turned out so cute.
