The crown stamp in the "Extreme Elements" stamp set makes me think royalty so I created this card with that theme in mind...using Cherry Cobbler and Elegant Eggplant for the main color scheme. Even though the thought of royalty may not bring rustic, distressed images to mind, I thought it was appropriate to distress this card in honor of royalty from our history many, many years ago...

Cool Winter Evening
Things are blazing hot in Tulsa right now, so I created a cool, winter card to cool things off. I used the 1-3/4" circle punch and the reverse masking technique to create a soft moon behind the tree. To add a glaze of shimmer, I traced the edge of the moon and the grass line with the 2-way glue pen and sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds.

Convention Gift
I had a roommate at convention that I had never met prior to convention. I wanted to make a little something for her for sharing a room with me. You may remember this owl punch card...I changed the colors a little and made a coordinating checkbook cover to go with the card. I also added a sprig of green using the branch from the two-step bird punch.

Convention Swaps
I signed up to do two Simply Adorned Charm swaps while I was at convention. I did the 1-1/2" by 2" charm and the 1" by 1-1/4" charm. These are the swaps that I created:

Watercolor Wonder
I love water coloring when I have the time...this was the technique for my monthly club this month so it got me motivated to try another card with it. I used markers for the edges of the flowers and used the aqua painters to blend the color into the flowers. The third picture is the inside of the card...

Simple Elizabeth
The "Elizabeth" stamp that comes a la carte is perfect for fast, elegant cards. It was easy to whip this thank you note together. A perfectly matched Crushed Concord ribbon sits nicely up against the coordinating card stock with a kiss of sparkle using the brand new rhinestone jewel accents!

Cracked Glass
I've wanted to do a card lately that featured the cracked glass technique. The Artistic Etchings stamp set is gorgeous with this technique! I am in love with how this card turned out. No embellishments but the technique itself is such a stunning effect.

Who...Who?
I just love the adorable new owl punch! He is so stinkin' cute, I had to play with him right away! This is a clean and simple thank you card, but I wanted Mr. Owl to be the focus of this cheery little card.

Love like a Butterfly
It's like Christmas in July at my house! I received a very large order of new goodies from the brand new Idea Book & Catalog on Friday, so I spent my weekend playing with my new stuff: new Designer Series Paper, stamp sets, ribbons, brads, buttons, embossing folders, tools, etc etc.
The "Butterfly Prints" stamp set is perfect for summer time and coordinates nicely with "Flight of the Butterfly." And the Sweet and Sour DSP just squeals summertime with it's bright, lavish color scheme!
To top it off, I added a couple of buttons to the card front for extra dimension and character.

Thank you gala
I love the brightness of the Greenhouse Gala DSP-it's perfect for summer projects. I threw together a couple of quick thank you cards for some customers and finished off the projects by adding some coordinating paper to the envelopes-an easy way to step up a project.

Greenhouse Carton
The milk carton die cut is a great way to quickly create favors, small gifts, or giveaways-simply run it through the big shot machine and you have a perfect treat box cut out for you to decorate any way you wish.
I ran a strip of the Greenhouse Gala DSP around the box and used a small library clip to add a splash of pizzazz to the sentiment.

Chic Amour
I dove into my collection of new core colors for today's card--Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso-a chic and glamorous color combination. Artistic Etchings is quickly becoming one of my favorite stamp sets from the new Idea Book and Catalog.
I used the Cherry Cobbler marker to add a few highlights to the stamped crown and added a touch of bling with one of my favorite embellishments: clear rhinestone brads.

Amour Stenciling
I've wanted to try my hand at Stampin' Up!'s stencils for quite some time, but always forget that I have them. I came across the Elegant Trio Decor Stencils that I had purchased quite some time ago and got excited to try one of them out on a card.
I used Basic Black ink and a sponge to fill in the stencil, and added a Clear Rhinestone brad in the center to add a little extra spark.
The Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder adds a touch of elegance to the card hugged up against the Real Red satin ribbon.

Happy Independence Day!
Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans. Hope you are taking time to celebrate with some good cooking, family time and fireworks! In honor of our country's freedom celebration, I offer you this card. It uses a retired stamp set, but it's a good one.
Enjoy your day!

One of my good friends had a birthday, so I made this card to wish her Happy Birthday. It uses the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and some retired Razzleberry Lemonade DSP I had leftover.

Late Father's Day
This was a simple card that I made for my father-in-law for Father's Day, I'm just a little late in posting it. I layered 1-1/4" circles on top of 1-3/8" circles to give clean, chic look.
