Basketball Birthday

My brother-in-law just celebrated his milestone 30th birthday. As part of the celebration, my sister planned a surprise party for him and enlisted my help on some of the festivities. With Brad being an avid basketball fan, she opted for a basketball/OKC Thunder theme. I made a birthday banner for the fireplace, food name tents, water bottle labels, the invitations, and the candy favors. I enjoyed making these and "free handing" the basketballs after punching them out using my 1-3/8" circle punch.

I'm currently smack dab in the midst of a craft room makeover and my craft room is inaccessible, so I haven't been able to craft anything to post here. Photos and a post from the makeover coming soon! :)

Waving Good-bye Wednesday

Yesterday the list of retiring stamp sets and accessories was released. So today's card is devoted to all things that are retiring at the end of the month. I'll be honest, masculine cards are not my forte, but I really wanted to use the "Just Basketball" stamp set. Basketball is my favorite sport to watch (even though I'm a terrible player!) so I dug it out today to wave good-bye.
