Season of Friendship

Thought I'd give the pumpkins a break today and picked up the "Season of Friendship" stamp set instead. Very easy and simple.

I have a fun project surprise coming and it will be starting this Friday. Be sure to come back to find out what it is!

Upsy Daisy Birthday

I made this Birthday card for one of my friends, who is celebrating her big day tomorrow. This card is using the "Upsy Daisy" stamp set.

Hope her day is full of daisies...real, or otherwise. :)

I Wuff You

One of my friends has been helping me out by watching my dog every Sunday for the past 3 months. This Sunday is her last and as a thank you, I made this doggie box that will hold a gift card for her.

I got the idea at convention-someone had made one and it was on display. I have no idea who made it. I searched online and couldn't find it either, so I'm not sure who to give credit for for the idea.

I had taken a picture of hers at convention, looked at it yesterday afternoon and decided I would study it a little better when I got home to actually make it. When I got home I realized I didn't have the picture, so I had to do it by memory, but I think I got pretty close! :)

Wuff!

More Halloween

Here's another Halloween card I did last night-very quick and easy! I just love this "Pumpkin Patch" stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catty. It's finally officially fall-my house now has fall scattered about on the inside and it is sunny and beautiful outside!

Welcome fall!

Things I Love

This is a simple card I made using the "Things I Love" stamp set. I added some dazzling diamonds to the buckle of the shoe to make it pop.

Boo/Eek!

Lately I have really been in the Halloween/fall decorating mood and I've been keeping my eyes out for sales and bargains. I was at a department store and saw the cutest set of stacked blocks that said "Eek." The store was asking $18 for these three blocks!! I thought to myself, "No way, I can make something for way less." So that's what I did. I found a wine box at a craft store and spent last Saturday decorating it for Halloween. :) I also made some ornaments, but forgot to take pics of those, so I'll post those later.

Very Merry Christmas

I recently ordered the snowflake punch, so this is the first card I did to try it out. Very simple, but a good Christmas feel.

Happy (early) Fall!

I have been shopping a lot lately trying to find new fall decor and hunt out the sales, even though fall hasn't officially started. Deals are hard to come by when the season hasn't really even started yet. Never-the-less I have tried and spent a lot of money on new decor for my new house. It put me in the mood to make a fall card using punches to make the pumpkins. Happy Fall!

Something to warm you up!

I love the "Cold & Cuddly" stamp set from the holiday mini catty. It has a lot of cute winter options. I used Dazzling Diamonds to make the edge of the ice sparkle and I used crystal effects to make the top of the ice look glassy. Doesn't this bear and his steaming cup of love just warm you up?? :)

Mini Note Card

At convention, I was a prize patrol winner and received a stamp set and a set of mini note cards with envelopes. I recently dug out the note cards and this was the end result of my creation:

Feeling nostalgic

Both of these cards were inspired by a planner that my upline, Deidre, gave me at convention. I just love the "Friends 24-7" stamp set, the "Friendly Words" wheel and the "Medallion" stamps! So beautiful and so many options for creativity.

Sparkly and Bright

I hope you had a great holiday weekend. I had an entire weekend that I could have used to scrap and make cards, but for some reason I wasn't feeling the creative mojo and just couldn't be inspired. So today I share with you a Christmas card that I made last week while the creative juices were flowing. I highlighted Mr. Snowman's hat with some dazzling diamonds to give him some umph. :) Enjoy.

Christmas Joy

It's a wee bit early, but I've been playing with my Holiday Mini Catty goodies, and that includes Christmas stuff. :) I don't think you can tell it from the picture, but I used the rock-n-roll technique on the ornaments with VersaMark and then added Dazzling Diamonds to the VersaMark to make the edges sparkle.

Let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas!

Holiday Mini Catty Sales Begins

Today is the day I have been waiting for--the holiday mini catty sales begins today. I have been playing with the new items that I pre-ordered from the catty and will be sharing a few of the cards I made using these items over the coming days. Since Halloween is the first holiday approaching, I'll start there. I just love the "Pumpkin Patch" stamp set from the mini catty. It really makes me smile because it reminds me just how much I love fall and Halloween. Here's the another Halloween card that I made using that set:
